Martine’s life was forever changed at age eleven. During a church service, a powerful, inexplicable feeling drew her forward. As she prayed, a wave of joy and peace washed over her. “Deep down I knew something had changed.”

Years later, a dream opportunity arrived: a scholarship to study in the USA. But in a shocking move that baffled everyone, she turned it down, compelled by a clear call from God to stay in Burundi. This obedience led her to law school, where she met her future husband.

After university, a new calling emerged at her family’s TV station, Heritage. Despite initial doubts, God guided her forward, using her to champion integrity and sound doctrine alongside spiritual partners.

Now, she sees how every step was divinely mapped out. “Right now, I am living one of my greatest dreams,” she says. “To be useful to others and to serve the Lord.”
